Space
A timber tea house opening onto a garden with koi, rockwork and trained trees in Hà Tĩnh.
The brief
Light the tea house and Japanese-style garden while retaining the landscape’s quiet character.
Lighting approach
Use low-level light and accents on bonsai and water, while keeping warm light in the tea house.
Keep the garden as the main view from the tea space.
