At VIBE Expo 2024, the Ashui Awards exhibition was set in darkness — where light became the main language. IDA partnered with the event, using light to lead viewers through each display block.
Darkness as the backdrop for light
Unlike an evenly lit booth, this space chose an almost absolute dark background. Each display plinth was lit by a tight beam, separated from the surrounding darkness, drawing the viewer's full focus onto the object. This is museum lighting — where light tells the story, not shows off.

The golden tunnel
The focal point of the space is a glowing golden tunnel — both a passage and a backdrop for attendees to pause and take photos. Warm light turns a simple geometric form into a memorable visual experience.

In a dark space, each beam of light is a sentence. Exhibition lighting is the art of writing with light.
Light and the viewer
Present at VIBE Expo 2024 alongside the design community, IDA once again affirmed the role of light in shaping experience — whether in a building or in a short-lived exhibition booth.
